Hey Sweat House! I am Mimosa, yes like our favorite Sunday drink! I was born in Los Angeles, and raised in Orange County. I graduated from UC Irvine and reside in Mission Viejo. I have many hobbies which include photography, playing piano, long distance running, and doing aerial silks. I stumbled into my first Lagree back in 2010, thinking it was just a traditional Reformer Pilates class. Boy, was I wrong! By the end of class, I was a sweaty mess! After a few days of being sore, I was ready to do it all over again. I took two classes a week, which slowly turned into five to six classes a week. I was addicted! I loved that the Lagree Method not only made physical changes to my body, but also had other benefits as well – more endurance for my runs, and more flexibility and strength for my aerial silks.
I decided to further my addiction and become the little fiyaahcracka that I am known as at Sweat House. Don’t let my petite size and harmless appearance fool you. I will challenge you and motivate you to push yourself outside of your comfort zone all while cheering you on and being your biggest fan!
WHAT DO YOU LOVE MOST ABOUT TEACHING LAGREE?
I love building relationships with my clients- to watch their progress and to see how strong physically and mentally they can get. This workout isn’t easy so I truly am inspired by how motivated and determined they are. Another favorite thing about teaching here- the community and the team that I am part of. Everyone here brings such a uniqueness to the studio!
