Hi Sweat House! I’m Joanna – originally from the Pacific Northwest (Portland, Spokane, Seattle) before moving to California (SF, OC). Before Lagree, I had never found an exercise that I enjoyed doing regularly so decided to try ClassPass. For my very first class, a friend took me to a Lagree studio in San Francisco just 10 minutes walk from where I lived. It was truly love at first shake! I immediately cancelled my ClassPass membership and made that studio my second home. Fast forward to today, and I’m happy to call Sweat House my new second home. When I’m not on a machine or teaching, I’m managing partnerships and negotiating contracts in the tech industry, traveling the world with my husband, or hanging out with my dog on the couch. After years of sweating and shaking on the Mega (and introducing everyone I know to it), I’m still addicted to fast transitions and perfecting my form. I hope to help fuel or introduce you to your own addiction to the Mega!
WHAT DO YOU LOVE MOST ABOUT TEACHING LAGREE?
I love helping clients get the most out of each move in class and seeing their focus and commitment to make it through every inch of the move. The mental and physical strength they bring is so inspiring to see!
WHAT'S YOUR FAVORITE LAGREE MOVE?
I love a wheelbarrow, standing outer thighs, or any heavy leg move. But honestly, any move as long as I can find that shake!
