BRENNAN

Hi, Brennan here! I recently moved to Orange County after living in Los Angeles for 12 years, but am originally from Sonoma County in Northern California. My fitness journey began about 8 years ago- I was newly sober, fresh out of rehab, and desperately searching for a healthy outlet to funnel my addictive energy into. My friend took me to my first yoga class, and I instantly knew I had found what I’d been looking for. I dabbled in different styles (the traditional practice of Ashtanga being my favorite) and received my RYT-200 certification back in 2019. However, I kept having frequent episodes of lower back pain and I realized that I was relying on my flexibility instead of my strength in certain poses. I needed to find a solution that would strengthen my core, and a friend of mine suggested that I check out Lagree. I took my first class back in October and just like with yoga, was instantly hooked. Not only did Lagree strengthen my core, but it taught me how to really ENGAGE it, and I haven’t had an episode of lower back pain since. I feel stronger than I’ve ever felt in my life, and am teaching so I can help others feel the same. When I’m not teaching, you can find me in class on a Megaformer, on my yoga mat, or designing on my computer.

WHAT DO YOU LOVE MOST ABOUT TEACHING LAGREE?

The community! I’m a graphic designer and work for myself which can get pretty isolating, so being able to surround myself with like-minded people who share the common goal of pushing themselves physically and mentally is such a rewarding and motivating experience.
